Saturday night started off with a bang, and not the good kind of bang. I parked at an apartment complex my friend lives at, Devonshire to be exact. I walked in and was there for about ten minutes. We walked out to get a redbox flick to see a boot on my car. We saw the son of perdition leaving, tried to chase him down, and called after the failed attempt. He claimed that he could only make it back in half an hour even though he JUST left. My friend explained that his sister is sick and he was only going in to give a blessing and that we were only in there for ten minutes. Satans follower's response was "that sucks, it's the luck of the draw." He must have not been a member of the church, if so for sure not in good standing with the whole being honest.
When he finally arrived the first words out of his mouth was "how do you want to do this?" Being angry I called him some choice words. His response was, "it's just a job man." I told him to get a new job. I should have told him I molest babies, but get paid to do it so it's okay. haha. I almost forgot that I found a ski mask in my trunk and put it on and told a friend to pretend he was driving the car so I could jump the guy. It's probably a good thing he didn't go along with it, but it would have made the fifty dollars spent worth it. I ended the conversation with the bastard (Jeremy), he wouldn't give me his last name because "of the nature of the 'business'" with "I hope you get in a car wreck and die"
The enjoyment began after I calmed down by watching the Baxter. Such a good movie. We then headed to a "slow dance party" and at first I had second thoughts. We doubled the number of people that were there with our group of 5. We danced amongst ourselves and soon after a bunch of people started showing up, some of them friends I haven't seen in a while. Others very pretty girls. The night was full of hanging out and dancing with the pretty girls that were there. The night was topped off with a frosty with a few good friends. A night that started with anger and thoughts of torturing Jeremy that works for university parking enforcement ended with love mixed with thoughts of torturing Jeremy. If anyone reading this knows a Jeremy that works for said company, I would please you anyway you would like to know (1) his last name, (2) where he lives.
The only thing that came from this was my friend ran into a certain someone that otherwise he would have missed. And I figured out I do have self control with not shooting someone that very well deserved to be shot in the knees.

JONATHAN NAPELA
In 1850, Brigham Young sent ten missionaries to the Hawaiian Islands. Without understanding the language and culture, the missionaries found the work extremely difficult. Eventually they became very discouraged. Five of the ten missionaries decided to go home. The youngest of the remaining Elders, George Q. Cannon, was determined to stay. While kneeling in prayer, he felt impressed to go to Lahaina on the island of Maui. As he walked down one of the streets, two women saw him and ran screaming into the nearby home of Jonathan Napela. They knew the night before Jonathan had a dream that a messenger of God would come to their island and that he was to feed him. Jonathan invited Elder Cannon to stay in his home and share his message. A few days later, Jonathan Napela and his wife, Kitty, were baptized. Brother Napela, the first Hawaiian to receive his endowment, assisted Elder Cannon in translating the Book of Mormon into his native tongue and helped the Church acquire land for the building of chapels.
In 1873, Jonathan’s wife, known as one of the most beautiful women on the island, contracted leprosy. At that time, there was no cure for the dreaded disease. To prevent it from spreading, victims were forced by the government to leave family and friends and move to a leper colony on the northern side of the island of Molokai. Guarded by high cliffs and accessible only by boat, victims were isolated from the rest of the world while they faced a slow, agonizing, and lonely death. They had no medical help and no tools with which to fish, garden, or construct shelters. Meager rations, barely enough to keep them alive, were periodically unloaded by boat offshore. The inhabitants had to wade or swim out to recover the food.
Under Hawaiian law, a husband or wife could divorce a spouse stricken with leprosy. Divorcing Kitty or leaving her to suffer and die alone were unacceptable options for Jonathan. He determined he would stay with her no matter what—even though it meant he would likely be infected with the same malady. When they reached the island, Jonathan immediately began working to improve conditions. He was set apart as Branch President and provided spiritual support to many. Tragically, it was not long before Jonathan was afflicted with leprosy. The disease progressed so quickly that within a year he was almost unrecognizable. In spite of terrible pain, he continued to minister relief to his wife and others until he succumbed to the disease on 6 August 1879. Kitty followed him in death less than two weeks later.

Character of God
Mortality is a high-adventure, wilderness experience--a time of testing and proving. It is not the promised land. As we make our way through that wilderness as husbands and wives, or as families, we can all be assured we will encounter many trials and afflictions--some of them the result of family life itself.
Comprehending the character of God enables us to see those experiences differently. Our thoughts and conversations focus more upon the fertile parts of the wilderness than they do upon the wilderness; more upon the good in our partners and in our marriage than the bad; more upon the many ways in which we have been highly favored of the Lord than upon the many afflictions we have had to suffer—either with each other or perhaps because of one another.
We see blessings and miracles, and one manifestation after another of the goodness, the mercy, and the love of God. Stirred by the pleasant remembrances of the past, we look forward to the future with faith and hope and optimism. We believe the best is yet to come, not that it has already come to pass.

Workie
I transfered to a different campus and love it even more. I am working with early adolescents and can be difficult at times. This past week I got to watch them work together to build a clubhouse and help them pick out a pumpkin at a pumpkin patch. Oh, and I get paid for it. I am quite happy at this point in my life. Everything seems to be falling into place, other than finding a girl. Well, I find girls every once in a long while, but I guess I take to long to open up and be myself so they lose interest. The way I look at it is when it happens it happens. Until then I enjoy my days playing with and disciplining children, playing volleyball, and tutoring at juvenile detention.

American Hardcore

I just watched American Hardcore, a documentary on hardcore punk in the early 80s. It was very interesting and educational. One thing I learned was that cops would stop shows and beat kids until they were on the ground, then continue doing so as they lay there with no resistance. It's amazing to me that people will say the white man is trying to keep them in check and that white people are racist. Sure some are, but I think it's not about color, so much, as it is about being different. People in general, no matter what color, have a hard time accepting things and people that are different. I would also like to bring up the point that the push for diversity is out of control to the point of being ridiculous. Instead of dwelling on differences and trying to accommodate every little group we should try to get along as brothers and sisters (religiously speaking).
I also found a new love for Minor Threat. They have a song titled "Guilty of Being White". It's about anti-racism. How people think just because you are white that you are some evil person that hates other races. Just because some white person in the past had a slave doesn't mean that I think the same. Racism is stupid and we really need to work on becoming one nation under God, not a nation divided into diverse groups that only want to better that certain group. We need to accept people for who they are, as long as they can follow the law and whatnot. Diversity is good, but unity is much more important.
I'm sorry
For something I didn't do
Lynched somebody
But I don't know who
You blame me for slavery
A hundred years before I was born
Guilty of being white
I'm a convict
Of a racist crime
I've only served
19 years of my time
Guilty of being white

Top 10 Most Conservative Colleges
4. Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah)
Brigham Young University, affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, attracts students deeply committed to their faith. Undergrads agree that "religion defines what BYU is and why it is such a great school." Students must abide by an honor code which "prohibits drinking, drugs, cheating, and dishonest actions." The vast majority is eager to consent, claiming this encourages them to "keep high standards [and ultimately] become better people."

Fashion No-No
I found this article talking about fashion and this part reminded me of Utah.
The look: Socks with sandals
“Anyone over the age of 10 should know better. Unless you’re making a concerted effort to remain in your parents’ basement until you’re 40, ditch the socks, or find some shoes.”
– Lauren
“This doesn’t even reflect bad fashion sense—it reflects a lack of fashion sense altogether. One guy actually came to pick me up for a first date in this combo. I’m trying to remember whether or not he was wearing a Hard Rock CafĂ© t-shirt, of if my brain just filled that in years after the fact. No, it was definitely a Hard Rock shirt.”
– Caitlin
“If your feet are going to be cold in sandals, why wouldn’t you just, I dunno…wear shoes?”
– Jane
“Does any guy still do that?!”
– Maria
The jury says: GUILTY! While the comfort level may be high, the blinding effect of bright white tube socks and Tevas will make sure you enjoy yourself sans female companionship.

The Beauty That Surrounds Me
Pretty much everyday I sit down and watch a little television. I flip through the channels trying to find something on. WIthout fail, I pass E! and VH1 and there is always something on about celebrities. I guess their life is somewhat interesting, but I realized, "hey mine can be too!" So I think that if our nation spends less time worrying about other people's lives and actually do something with theirs it would make life better. As I think about why celebrities are so appealing I can't help but realize that one of the reasons is they are "extremely good looking." Then I thought about certain girls I know and they are just as extremely good looking. I've never really met a celebrity, or at least not hung out with one, but I do know that the beautiful girls I know have a beautiful personality to go with the looks. All this said, I am going to stay away from reality tv and make my own reality. Maybe once in a while I will watch Scott Baio is 45 and single. But that show actually gets me thinking, cause I am the same way. Not so much in the sleep with a lot of girls, but in the sense that commitment just doesn't happen with me. Rather than wacthing other people's lives I am going to focus on the beauty that surrounds me.

I was bored...
So I did some quizes so I could "find myself"
"What's your seduction style?"
Your Seduction Style: The Dandy
You're a non-traditionalist, not limited by gender roles or expectations.
Your sexuality is more fluid than that - and you defy labels or categories.
It's hard to pin you down, and that's what's fascinating about you.
You have the psychology of both a male and a female, and you can relate to anyone.
"How normal are you?"
You Are 45% Normal
While some of your behavior is quite normal...
Other things you do are downright strange
You've got a little of your freak going on
But you mostly keep your weirdness to yourself
"Do men think you are a tease?"
You Are a Tiny Tease
You like to flirt and show off your body, but what confident woman doesn't.
You enjoy male attention, and you're usually pretty good at not leading men on.
However, there are times when you get carried away with your sexy behavior.
It's okay to use your amazing flirting powers for good - but never for evil!
"Are you masculine or feminine?"
You Are 34% Feminine, 66% Masculine
You are in touch with your masculine side.
You are not overly sensitive and not easily moved.
Occasionally, though, something will get through and touch your heart!
"Are you a gentleman?"
You Are 76% Gentleman
You are definitely a gentleman. You're very considerate and you have excellent manners.Occasionally, you slip and do something foolish... but usually no one notices!
"How redneck are you?"
You Are 20% Redneck
I'll slap you so hard, your clothes will be outta style.
You ain't no redneck - you're all Yankee!

After a good workout and talking to a good friend I remembered that people are going to be judged for not only what they do, but for who they are. If they have the actions, but not the right motive they will be judged accordingly. It's hard to leave the judging up to Christ when I have to live with such stupidity, but I am gonna try my best to let things slide and remember that many people that think they are righteous find out otherwise when they die.
I have known this for a while, but lately it seems more noticable to me. After coming back from my summer vacation it stuck out to me how rude people are in Utah. They think everything is their business and that they are all righteous. Provo is mainly BYU is full of the Mormons that make me want to go inactive and start chopping off their testicles so they could never proctrate and make little followers of Satan. They call themselves Mormon, but really they are Satan's followers in sheeps clothing. They go through the motions, mostly on Sunday. Religion is pointless unless you do things out of love and you truely believe, not this bullshit Sunday Mormon, following blindly what my parents taught me. It's crazy how close-minded people from Utah are. Today in class someone was trying to make a point, but went about it in a somewhat bigoted way. He said, and I quote, "What if a lynch mob said lets go hang us a darkie?" I understood the point he was making and it was a valid one, but only at BYU can an ignorant idiot get away with saying such things. I can't wait to get out of this hell-hole. I have met good people here, many of them have moved away and a few are still left. All in all, Provo is full of self-righteous, hypocrites that should never have kids. But I still love those pieces of mierda. At least I graduate soon and can leave and never come back.
"Fresher than Tony Rebel's vestibules at African street festivals
My incredible women is, plentiful
Over the years I met a few, none of them compare to you
Preparin you to make food bearable, somethin terrible, let's see:
you fruitful, beautiful, smart, lovable, huggable
Doable like art, suitable to be part
of my life, Coppertone, oh you copyright infringement
Pay you bidness ten cents, way back in the day
It's like I'm standin there you know appreciatin God's design
and then you showed up, it's like you read my mind
DAMN SHE'S FINE, I think I add the R-E, in front of that
and see if she D, to get, with a cat like me"
-Blackstar-

It'd be with you
In a goosebump infested embrace
With my overanxious hands cupping your face
In a goosebump infested embrace
With my overanxious hands cupping your cherub face

Good Riddance's last show was amazing to say the least. It made me oh so happy. It got to go to California for about a week and I got to see their last show in their hometown (Santa Cruz). I met some way cool people too. I got to go to "Full House point" and many other places I have never been, mainly in San Fran. Taking the train from San Jose to San Fran made me want to travel by train somewhere, with good company. Traveling makes me happy and so does music. That is why this trip was saweet!

So on March 29th, two days after my birthday, I got in a wreck and it sucked. Well actually it wasn't that bad. The car died, but I only hurt my wrist. I got to longboard and ride a bike a lot. And nice people gave me rides. I have since been carless, except for a week when I got to drive a gas guzzling liberty.

I like animals. I am going to the zoo tomorrow =) I hope it doesn't rain. I still don't have a car, well I have a rental. I drifted it today in the rain. It's probably not safe cause it is a jeep liberty, but I had to try and I was successful. Cause you know, "the secret to every success is that the success is in the proccess yeah." or something like that. Looking back at pictures make memories vividly reappear in my head. I love looking at pictures and taking them. Hopefully I will get to go camping this weekend, if not I will be so very sad.

Carl's Jr
Duke and I were about to leave to drive to Texas. We decided to get some food before we left and since we had coupons for Carl's Jr, thats where we went. After eating a tasty meal, we went to the bathroom to relieve ourselves of excess weight. I was at the urinal, so Duke went to the stall. One was nastified so he went to the other and as he started pushing the door open we hear a high pitched "no, no, no, no, no." Then Duke's reply, "There is definitely a little boy in there." My brother Steve was leaving as this was happening, so the door to the bathroom was open and everyone in Carls heard. I was trying so hard not to laugh that I started crying. It might only be funny if you were there, but it made me giggle/cry.

I love music
Music makes me happy and I like to be happy. Benton Falls, Elliot, The Good Life, Cursive, Jeremy Enigk, Mana, Stars of Track and Field, Brand New, etc are so amazingly lovely. If I had to choose to be either blind or deaf, I would pick blind cause I don't think I could live w/out music.
