New Friends

About a week ago Garrett and I were on our way to Austria from Italy. The group of people, minus one were way chill. Once we got to our train station we originally planned at stopping at it was raining. Garrett asked if I wanted to keep going. It was a definite yes. Onward to Munich.

On our way to Munich we were invited to go to Copenhagen to stay with a newly made friend,  Pernille. She talked to her roommate Klara who was more than ok with us visiting. Among the group was Erik, a Canadian. All great people. One of the reasons I love traveling so much. It gives you the chance to meet amazing people.

Our stay in Copenhagen was amazing. To the point of not really wanting to leave. Great company, great home cooked food. It's nice to be able to hang out with locals and not be such a tourist. One night we went to a school and hung out with people at a little bar. As I write this all I can think about it the food. Oh how I miss that tasty food.

June 17th 2013

Garrett and I made it to Vancouver. Just waiting for our flight now. The customs lady got mad at garrett for not signing the document. Pretty sure I didn't sign that. Haha. Hopefully I can sleep on the flight to London.

March 2012

turns out i have a year of catching up to do. I'll start with March 26th 2012:
New Zealand

Dallin and I left LA and headed to New Zealand, with a layover in Fiji. I guess the plane was delayed so they took us to a resort and gave us breakfast and lunch. Layovers hanging out by a pool beats airports any day. While eating we met Julia. I invited her to sit with us since she was sitting alone. We ended up giving her a ride to her hostel in our sweet ride when we got to New Zealand.

A picture from the first night in Auckland and a couple of the first place we stayed. It was a cool house turned hostel.

We met up with Julia on my birthday and got breakfast and went on a hike. Can't complain about hiking in New Zealand with a cute girl. Oh, and Dallin haha.

March 2012

I hung out with my little brother a lot and got to see my grandma. I went snowboarding with my good friend Benson at the Canyons. The plants I grew in my closet during the winter were growing quite nicely. Notice how I said "were". =/

February 2012

I guess I didn't do much. That or I didn't take any pictures. I did however go to a bonfire. Christmas tree burning even. It was awesome. I LOVE fire. And I had great company =]

January 2012

My whole family was in Utah in January. It was nice having everyone together.
Robert, Allan, Chris and I went snowboarding. Robert and Allan both had at least one good wreck each. The last one took Robert out for the day. He ended up getting what seemed to be the only hard chair when we ate up at Sundance.
We went to Park City with my mom where Chris fell asleep. He woke up and we were gone. haha.
We went bowling with my dad.
We hung out at the house my mom rented. A lot of hide n seek was played in this house. We also ate tasty food. It was a good week for sure.

October 2011-King's Peak

We started when it was dark on Friday and hiked 8 miles in then camped. We woke up early and went the rest of the way to the top.

Saturday morning

Part way up with my brother Chris

Never have I felt more accomplished on a hike

We hiked back to the car on Saturday. I was dead tired by the time we finally made it. I'm not going to lie, I took a 30 minute nap on the trail 3 miles from the car. Saturday we hiked a total of 20 miles give or take.

Chile

End of August i went to Chile with my friend Shane. We had a layover in Dallas so I got to see some of my family. It was very nice. Bonus, I got Rosa's. My mom is the best. It was quite a fun and relaxing trip. Great travel buddy, great location, stayed with an amazing family. We flew into Santiago and stayed 3 days. We didn't do much the first 2 days because of a protest for free schooling. We spent most of our time in Valparaiso and Vina del Mar. Beautiful area. I would go back for sure. We mostly wondered and hung out at the beach. And ate tasty food. We went to some sand dunes the last day. Over all it was most wonderful. Worst part was the donut in the Santiago airport.
